1. What about shipping on the rocking horses?
We now ship all our horses by Airborne Freight. They are the only ones that will ship that big of a box. It is not the weight, but the size of the box. And they happen to be very reasonable for both air and ground transportation cost.
2. What about shipping on the cedar chest?
We also ship our chest by Airborne, but the smaller ones can go on UPS.

5. How do you ship custom made furniture?
Believe it or not, there are several moving companies that specialize in shipping one-of-a-kind large items, and they are reasonably priced. Again, contact us for a quote.
6. What is your production time on a rocking horse?
Most often it is a 2-3 week process, depending on the backlog of orders. Every now and then I will have a horse in stock, but we have found most people want that special design added to their order.
7. What is your production time on a cedar chest?
Chests take us 3-4 weeks, depending on our backlog and what people want.
8. Why do you use dovetails on the chest?
We use dovetails because of two things - strength and good looks. There is nothing stronger or better looking than a dovetail joint. That's why craftsmen have used this joint for hundreds of years.
9. How long to make a dining table?
A dining room table can take to to 8 weeks, but most of the time they run 6 weeks.
10. How long to make the chairs for a dining table?
Depending on the style chairs can take up to 8-12 weeks. Chairs are not the simplest thing to make and there a A LOT of cuts!
11. How do you work with custom designs?
We do all our design work in Inventor and AutoCAD. Inventor is a 3D modeling program that can give you a realistic look at what we think you want. We take snapshots of it and e-mail them to you for approval. We continue the process until you are happy with the design. At that time, you get the product and the plans! What a deal.
